About this policy
MelonPlace is a service for managing businesses, customers and automations. This policy describes data processing on the platform. Each business is responsible for its customer data and how it uses its forms and communications.
Data and purposes
We process account, business and team information; data you enter into enabled modules; and technical access and security records. We use it to provide the service, protect accounts, run requested features and answer inquiries.
Integrations use the data and permissions you authorize. For Instagram, this includes the professional account, media, comments, identifiers, tokens and results needed to reply according to business rules. A comment may trigger a private reply and an optional public confirmation. We do not sell personal data or use Meta data to train AI models.
With your authorization, Gmail sends configured emails and Google Calendar creates, updates and cancels booking events in the selected calendar. Invitations to the customer's email are optional. You can disconnect these accounts under Integrations.
Providers and retention
We use providers such as Amazon Web Services, MongoDB Atlas, Cloudflare and Resend for infrastructure, storage, security and email. They may process data outside your country depending on the service and its configuration.
We retain data as needed for the service, security and legal obligations. Specific Instagram comment records expire after 30 days; inquiries, history and backups may have different retention periods. We apply authentication, permissions and encryption of integration tokens.
Cookies
We use cookies and browser storage for sessions, security and preferences. Some features retain visit or campaign references. Optional technologies requiring consent must be activated with your authorization.
Your rights and contact
You may request access, correction, a copy or deletion of your data and withdraw authorizations where applicable. Email the contact address on this page and identify the related account or interaction. We will verify your request proportionately and respond within the applicable legal period.
You can disconnect integrations from the portal. Disconnecting stops their use; deletion of retained data is requested separately. Policy updates are published here with their date.
